At just 22 years old, Bigmeebil Gmadick left his home in Atebubu for Kumasi, hoping for a better life. Unfortunately, he fell into a life of crime, which led to a five-year prison sentence for theft. Upon his release, the weight of his past followed him home; consumed by shame, Bigmeebil remained confined to his room for months, unable to face his community.
His turning point began with Missionary Charles Makate, who visited him frequently to offer counsel and support. Eventually, Bigmeebil found the courage to attend church. While listening to a sermon on holiness, he was deeply moved to tears. When the altar call was made, he stepped forward and surrendered his life to Christ.

Today, thanks to Charles’ steadfast spiritual and psychological guidance, Bigmeebil has overcome his shame. He is now a visible and active member of the community, working as a loading agent for vehicles transporting goods between local markets and Kumasi. Looking ahead, Charles plans to support Bigmeebil in learning a trade of his choice, ensuring he gains the financial stability and respectability he needs to build a bright, responsible future.
